In 20 chapters, Attorney Charles G. Finney, former Mason-turned-evangelist during America’s Second Great Awakening (1826-1835), prosecutes Freemasonry’s character, claims and practical workings. The final chapter lists six reasons why the Church will be held accountable before God for its action or inaction toward the Lodge.
What triggered the Second Great Awakening? The details are told in this book. In short, Freemasonry murdered one of its own for exposing the secrets of Freemasonry. Captain William Morgan, who had received Christ as Savior, renounced Freemasonry and exposed its secrets in a book. At least 136 Masons were involved in his murder. You will read the details of this Masonic plot, experience Morgan’s death as confessed by one of the Masons, and witness Freemasonry’s obstruction of justice during the trials.
In a new “Foreword,” Ed Decker, modern-day expert on Freemasonry, tells how two Scottish Masons made an attempt on his life when he recently toured Scotland speaking on the occult roots of Freemasonry. This attempted murder proves that Freemasonry has not changed its character since the days of Finney.
After Morgan’s murder in 1826, revival broke out across America. Of the 50,000 Masons in our land at that time, 45,000 renounced Freemasonry and received Christ as Savior. This nearly destroyed the Lodge in America. From that time forward Freemasonry has retaliated against the Church.
We document Freemasonry’s retaliation in a new “Epilog,” the most effective of which occurred exactly 100 years after the murder of William Morgan. In 1926 Freemasonry gave an order to all Masons in America to join local churches, liberalize them, modernize them, and render them aggressive for Masonic use.
A new “Appendix” in Finney’s book concludes with testimonies from four evangelical SBC pastors who met Freemasonry’s retaliation during the 1990‘s. When these four pastors preached Christ as the only way to salvation, Masons, who controlled the vote, voted them out of their churches.
